New Catalog for Milling, Drilling, and Boring Inserts

April 1, 2005

HOUSTON - American National Carbide (ANC) has introduced a fully updated and improved line of inserts for milling, drilling, and boring applications, and a new catalog has been published that includes all of these as well as detailed grade and application information for each product line.

Included in the new catalog are various styles of inserts for automotive, face and end milling. Both positive and negative rake inserts are available for screw-fastening, clamp, or lock pin fastening systems. Also included in the updated offering are popular styles of inserts for drilling and a complete line of inserts for boring in any workpiece material. Improved state-of-the-art chip control geometries and grade design highlight the new program.

"The grade system we developed for our turning inserts has been carried over to our milling and drilling products," says D. Greg Stroud, President. "Now our customers have a very easy-to-use grade selection system across all of our metalworking insert product lines." Grades are available for virtually any workpiece material and application.
