HOUSTON - American National Carbide (ANC) is offering for a limited
time its popular American Value line of turning inserts at
an even greater value. The American Value series is tailored
to those in the metalworking community who seek inserts that perform
well but are priced at reasonable levels. The line is comprised
of a targeted offering of the most popular styles and sizes of turning
inserts in proven grades for guaranteed performance. Both positive
and negative rake inserts are available with state-of-the-art chip
control geometries and grades for virtually any workpiece material
and application.
"We felt there was a large portion of the industry whose needs
were not being met by the big guys," says D. Greg Stroud, President.
"So we developed the American Value line to provide high-quality,
reliable inserts that smaller machine shops can afford."
"The line has attracted a lot of interest since its launch
earlier this year," says Adrian Waple, Vice President of Operations.
"With the ongoing volatility in the tungsten market, it is
a perfect time for us to spread the word about the exceptional value
these inserts provide."
