American Value™ Inserts Offered in New Promotion

August 1, 2005

HOUSTON - American National Carbide (ANC) is offering for a limited time its popular American Value™ line of turning inserts at an even greater value. The American Value™ series is tailored to those in the metalworking community who seek inserts that perform well but are priced at reasonable levels. The line is comprised of a targeted offering of the most popular styles and sizes of turning inserts in proven grades for guaranteed performance. Both positive and negative rake inserts are available with state-of-the-art chip control geometries and grades for virtually any workpiece material and application.

"We felt there was a large portion of the industry whose needs were not being met by the big guys," says D. Greg Stroud, President. "So we developed the American Value™ line to provide high-quality, reliable inserts that smaller machine shops can afford."

"The line has attracted a lot of interest since its launch earlier this year," says Adrian Waple, Vice President of Operations. "With the ongoing volatility in the tungsten market, it is a perfect time for us to spread the word about the exceptional value these inserts provide."
